The goal of the arts program at WMAAA is to provide education in theatre, dance, visual arts and music. The arts engage students in the act of creating and performing: offering each student a valuable means of expression.

Appealing to a variety of learning styles, a focus on the arts helps to develop students mentally, emotionally, and physically. Study in the arts at WMAAA reinforces and enhances what is learned in the academic classroom. The integration of the arts and academics helps the students to discover important connections in their learning that might otherwise be missed.

Having participated in the arts, students will leave the academy with an appreciation of the arts, critical thinking skills, and unique experiences to provide them with opportunities to pursue the arts in their future.
